What is the Techless Tool Drawer?
The Techless Tool Drawer is an upcoming feature that will allow users to download approved third-party apps from a carefully curated selection of tools onto their Wisephone II. We aim to have this ready in beta form in time for launch.
Which apps will be available in the Tool Drawer?
The library of applications is still under development. Details about the available apps will be unveiled soon.
We would love to know which apps you would like to see integrated into the Wisephone and the protective measures you envision around them. Please share your feedback with us here.
What are some of app categories being explored for use?
Categories such as: audio, banking, communication, home automation, transportation, and utility.
Will Spotify, Audible, or Weather be available as a third-party Tools?
They are all on our suggested apps list for vetting, but we cannot guarantee anything at this time.

Does the Tool Drawer require a Techless plan?
Yes, to access the Techless Tool Drawer, a Healthy or Pro plan will be required.
Can I connect to a Bluetooth device or headset?
Yes, there will be Bluetooth capabilities, however, we can't guarantee compatibility with every device out in the wild at this time.
Is there access to an internet browser?
No. WiseOS will not have access to the internet.
Will Wisephone II have WiFi calling?
Yes, Wisephone II is planned to support WiFi calling.
How does the Music Tool work?
It's a bit of a throwback to the old iPod days, where you upload your own MP3 audio files and enjoy them through our Music player.

Can you record videos?
Yes, you will be able to capture those perfect moments on video.
Can I import my contacts?
Yes! You can import your contacts via cloud through the Family Portal, from either your Google or Apple account.
Can I send group messages?
Good news, yes! You can participate in group messages with your family, friends, and coworkers.
Can I send picture messages?
Yes! You can send pictures to your family and friends.
Can I send GIFs or emojis?
GIFs are not supported at the moment. However, there is a shortcut in our Messages Tool that allows you to send emojis.
Is there a roadmap for Wisephone II?
There sure is, and that's because we value transparency. We will continue to update our roadmap as time progresses.

What protection options will be available?
We're working on finalizing these items and aim to have them available for purchase soon.
Is Wisephone II available outside of the United States?
Though we want to expand to international markets, we are not there yet. Wisephone II will be released and available only within the United States.
Techless Carrier Plans
Can I use Wisephone II with my own carrier plan?
Wisephone II is designed to operate exclusively on Techless carrier plans.
Will the Techless carrier plan take the place of my existing carrier plan?
Yes, the Techless plan will take the place of your existing carrier plan.
Note: Please don't cancel your current plan until you successfully transfer your phone number over.
What carrier network is being used for the Techless Plans?
Service will operate on the 4G LTE network, powered by one of the three major carriers towers and managed by Techless. Though we can't disclose the specific carrier due to contractual agreements, our aim is to ensure reliable calling, texting, and Maps services.
You can review our coverage map and compare it with your current carrier's coverage for any differences.
Does each Wisephone require a Techless carrier plan?
Yes, each phone will need a Techless plan. However, multiple plans can be managed from one account.

Do the monthly plans include phone payments?
The monthly plan for Wisephone II does not include phone payments. You will need to purchase the phone upfront.
How and when do I set up my plan?
Closer to the shipping date, we'll provide comprehensive instructions. At that time, the setup process, predominantly, will be managed through your Portal account, which will be created once we share that information.
Will my plan come with a new phone number?
Yes, the SIM card will come with a phone number if you need one.
Can I keep my current phone number with your plans?
Yes! There will be an easy way to port your phone number from your previous carrier as part of the sign up process.
Note: keep your service live with your existing provider until the number transfer is complete. Steps will be provided at the proper time.
Will you expand compatibility to additional carriers?
We are considering providing support for other carriers in the near future.
Can I change to a different plan down the road?
If you start out on a plan and decide to change later on, then you certainly can - there are no contracts involved.
Does the Minimalist plan include sufficient data for using Maps?
Yes! You will have plenty of data for normal Map use. If you plan to use Maps more frequently, like all day for a job, then upgrading to the Healthy plan might be the better option.
Will international calls and texts be supported?
We have not conducted extensive testing of Wisephone II outside of the United States. The optimized bands are primarily designed for use within the U.S., and although they might function internationally for travel, we are careful not to make promises without thorough testing.
Why do you need data if theres no internet browser?
The Wisephone utilizes data for several functions, including Updates, Maps, syncing to the Family Portal, and sending MMS messages. Even though there's no internet browser, these features still require data usage to function effectively.
Why do some plans have more data?
The Healthy & Pro plans offer extra data to support the introduction of the new and upcoming Techless Tool Drawer apps, as well as the Mobile Hotspot feature.
Can I still use the Mobile hotspot on the Minimal or Healthy plan?
At this time, the mobile hotspot feature will only be available for those who choose the Pro Plan at setup.
Will these plans work with Wisephone I?
At this time, Techless plans are only available with Wisephone II.
Let us know if that is something you would be interested in, and perhaps in the future the plans may support Wisephone I.
