What is the Techless Tool Drawer?
The Tool Drawer is a feature that will allow users to install approved third-party apps from a carefully curated selection of tools onto their Wisephone II. Approved Tool list to be unveiled SOON.
Which apps will be available in the Tool Drawer?
An official list of supported apps is not yet publicly available, but you'll see apps like two-factor auth, Venmo, Uber, and Lyft.
We welcome all third-party app requests here.
What are some of app categories to be expected?
We are being very intentional with our app selection to ensure they aren't full of dark patterns, have too many unnecessary permissions or glue you to your screen. Just Tools that get the job done.
Categories such as: audio, banking, communication, home automation, transportation, and utility.
Will there be access to third-party internet browsers, social media, YouTube, or games?
No internet apps, no social media, no YouTube, and no games (solo apps).

Does the Tool Drawer require a Techless plan?
Yes, to gain access the Tool Drawer you'll need to be on the Healthy, Pro, or Core plan.
Can I connect to a Bluetooth device or headset?
Yes, there will be Bluetooth capabilities, however, we can't guarantee compatibility with every device out in the wild at this time.
Is there access to an internet browser?
No. WiseOS will not have access to the internet.
Will Wisephone II have WiFi calling?
Yes, Wisephone II is planned to support WiFi calling.
Can I send picture messages?
Yes! You can send pictures to your family and friends.
Can I send group messages?
Good news, yes! You can participate in group messages with your family, friends, and coworkers.
Can I send GIFs or emojis?
GIFs are not supported at the moment. However, there is a shortcut in our Messages Tool that allows you to send emojis.
Can you record videos?
Yes, you will be able to capture those perfect moments on video.
Can I import my contacts?
Yes! You can import your contacts via cloud through a Google account, SIM card, or Vcard.
How does the Music Tool work?
It's a bit of a throwback to the old iPod days, where you upload your own MP3 audio files and enjoy them through the Music player.
What protection options will be available?
We're working on finalizing these items and aim to have them available for purchase soon.
Do you ship Wisephone II outside of the United States?
Though we want to expand to international markets, we are not there yet. Wisephone II will be released and available only within the United States.
Techless Service Plans
Can I use Wisephone II with my own carrier service plan?
Yes, if you want to keep your existing service and only pay for the Techless subscription, then you can choose the Core plan.
Will the Techless carrier plan take the place of my existing carrier plan?
Yes, the Techless service plans will take the place of your existing carrier plan.
Note: If you plan to keep your phone number, please don't cancel your current plan until you successfully transfer your phone number.
What carrier network is being used for the Techless Plans?
Service will operate on the 4G LTE & 5G networks, powered by one of the three major carriers towers and managed by Techless.

Does each Wisephone require a Techless plan?
Yes, each phone will need a Techless plan. However, multiple plans can be managed from one account.
Does the Core plan give me full access?
It’s up to you! You can opt for the Minimalist experience with just essential tools or choose the Pro experience, unlocking the Tool Drawer and Mobile Hotspot.

How and when do I set up my plan?
Closer to the shipping date, we'll provide comprehensive instructions. At that time, the setup process, predominantly, will be managed through your dashboard, which will be created once you receive you phone.
Do the monthly plans include phone payments?
The monthly plan for Wisephone II does not include phone payments. You will need to purchase the phone upfront.
Do your plans come with a new phone number?
Yes, you will have the option to receive a new phone number if you want one.
Can I keep my current phone number with your plans?
Yes! There will be an easy way to transfer your phone number from your existing carrier through our dashboard at setup.
Note: Keep your service live with your existing provider until the number transfer is complete. Steps will be provided upon delivery.
Can I change to a different plan down the road?
If you start out on a plan and decide to change later on, then you certainly can - there are no contracts involved.
Does the Minimalist plan include sufficient data for using Maps?
Yes! You will have plenty of data for normal Map use. If you plan to use Maps more frequently, like all day for a job, then upgrading to the Healthy plan might be the better option.
Does your service support international calls, texts, or roaming?
Techless service will not work outside of the United States. However, with the Core plan, your existing international carrier service service will likely work.
Note: We do not ship internationally at this time.
Why do you need data if theres no internet browser?
Wisephone utilizes data for several functions, including Updates, Maps, and sending MMS messages. Even though there's no internet browser, these features still require data usage to function effectively. Additionally, some plans unlock access to third-party Tools that use data as well.
Why do some plans have more data?
The Healthy & Pro plans offer extra data to support the Tool Drawer apps, as well as the Mobile Hotspot feature.
Can I still use the Mobile hotspot on the Minimal or Healthy plan?
At this time, the mobile hotspot feature will only be available for those who choose the Pro or Core plan at setup.
Will your service work with other devices?
In theory, yes, but our plans include the Techless subscription fee that you'll likely not want to be paying for an outside device.
