How is Wisephone II different from Wisephone I?
We’ve taken everything you know and love about Wisephone, and put it into an all-new hardware platform that is simply beautiful. Wisephone II represents a fundamental shift from a minimal phone to a healthy phone.
When will Wisephone II be released?
We’re anticipating that Wisephone II will ship in early Winter 2023.
If I preorder and then change my mind, can I get a refund?
Your reservation is fully refundable up until we ship your Wisephone II. We will notify you two weeks before Wisephone II ships.
What will the pricing of Wisephone II be?
Retail price of $299 for Wisephone II. There will be a monthly service charge for access to WiseOS and the Techless Family Portal.
Why is there a monthly subscription for Wisephone II?
Techless is working to disrupt the attention economy. As a result, we've decided to charge much less for a premium phone, while instead offering a subscription for the services we provide with WiseOS. The monthly subscription fee will be affordable at $7/month.
Most other phones are sold heavily subsidized by carriers, ads, and application stores - we're working to respect your attention by not doing those things.
Does the monthly subscription include cellular service?
With Wisephone II, we will allow you to bring your own carrier. We're currently exploring whether to offer an additional tier of our subscription that includes cellular service.
What quality of cameras are available on Wisephone II?
Wisephone II has a 64MP main, 2MP macro, 8MP wide-angle. Everything about the Wisephone II cameras have been upgraded over Wisephone I giving you higher resolution photos and video.
What carriers are compatible with Wisephone II?
At launch, Wisephone II is planned to work with TMobile, AT&T, and most MVNOs built on those networks. At the outset, it will not work with Verizon, though we hope to add compatibility in the future.
Will Wisephone II be available outside the United States?
Though we want to expand to international markets, we are not there yet. Much like its predecessor, the Wisephone II will be released and available only within the United States.
